These terms govern your use of teakwa.com and any purchase you make from us. By placing an order you accept them.
1 · Who we are. Teakwa, 9200 NW 39th Ave, Ste 130-3453, Gainesville, FL 32606, United States. Contact: hello@teakwa.com.
2 · Made to order. Every piece is manufactured after your order is placed. Descriptions, dimensions and photographs on this site represent the design and a previously completed example of it. Because each piece is hand-carved from natural timber, your piece will differ in grain, colour and small details from the images shown. This is inherent to the product and is not a defect.
3 · Dimensions. Listed dimensions are nominal and subject to a tolerance of approximately ±2cm on hand-made pieces. Where a precise fit matters, tell us before ordering and we will confirm.
4 · Prices and payment. All prices are in US dollars and include import duties, taxes and delivery to your door for the United States and Canada. Prices may change at any time; the price that applies is the one displayed when your order is placed. Payment is taken in full at the time of order unless a deposit arrangement has been agreed in writing.
5 · Order acceptance. Your order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we confirm the order by email. We may decline an order — for example where a piece can no longer be made, where a price has been listed in error, or where we cannot deliver to your address — and if we do, we refund you in full.
6 · Cancellations, damage and refunds. Governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. Returns require our prior written agreement.
7 · Delivery. Governed by our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these terms. Delivery is to your door; bringing the piece inside and unpacking it are the customer's responsibility unless an inside delivery has been separately agreed and paid for. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees.
8 · Care. Solid teak requires occasional re-oiling and should be kept out of prolonged direct sunlight and away from direct heat sources. Damage arising from misuse, an unsuitable environment, or failure to maintain the finish is not covered.
9 · Intellectual property. The Teakwa name, designs, photography and written content on this site are ours. You may not reproduce them commercially without written permission.
10 · Trade and commission work. Trade pricing, commissions and project work are subject to separate written terms agreed at the time.
11 · Liability. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
12 · Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, and the courts of that state have exclusive jurisdiction.
13 · Changes. We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published at the time you place your order.
