The Hand

In Jepara, the chisel is passed down like a name.

For centuries, the carvers of Jepara — the teak-carving capital of the world — have shaped this wood by hand. A single console can take one master weeks: the grain read like a map, the cuts made by eye, the surface brought to a low, oiled glow.

We keep the collection small and the makers close. Every piece leaves the workshop signed and numbered. This is craftsmanship no factory can replicate and no machine can hurry — people, not production lines.

The Selection

Nothing ships unseen.

Every piece is inspected on the workshop floor before it earns its number. Joint lines run by thumb — a gap you can feel is a no. The wobble test on a flat floor. A moisture reading, metered and logged. The underside turned over, because quality is what's finished where no one looks. And the surface checked in raking light, which reveals what daylight forgives.
